We are delighted to announce this years first edition of our newsletter The Suaimhneas Voice. Our team worked really hard on this edition and we are really proud of the result.

St. Patrick’s Day Celebrations was a wash with Green, White and Orange. Everybody made a great effort to be festive and get into the spirit of the occasion – ALL THINGS IRISH!
The morning started with our resident DJ Martin Maguire or ‘DJ Martin in the Mix’ who showed off his new DJ box that himself and Gemma made during the week, Traditional music and ballads were played and everybody joined in. The atmosphere was electric!
This was followed by an Irish themed quiz and bingo with lots of spot prizes. We had a gorgeous traditional Irish dinner of Bacon & Cabbage with all the trimmings which was cooked by our chef Jackie, Fiona and club members, this was followed by a green, white and orange themed dessert of jelly, cream and pears. We had a fabulous St. Patrick’s Day celebration.

We recycled our Valentines Day ‘Tree of Love’ and turned it into a tree to celebrate all things Irish for Paddy’s Day.
